What is PalBreed

A free fan-made Palworld breeding calculator. It finds the offspring of any two parent Pals, reverse-lookups every parent pair for a target Pal, and calculates cake ingredients for breeding. All tools are free with no account and no ads.

Breeding mechanics

Each Pal has a hidden breeding value. The Breeding Farm averages the values of two parents and produces the Pal whose value is closest to that average. Unique combos always produce the same offspring — for example, Relaxaurus × Sparkit always produces Jetragon.

Cake recipe

One Palworld Cake needs 5 Flour, 8 Red Berries, 7 Milk, 8 Eggs, and 2 Honey. Each breeding attempt consumes one cake cooked at a Cooking Pot.

Data source

Breeding data is sourced from the community-maintained tylercamp/palcalc project (MIT licensed), covering 299 Pals and 44,851 parent combinations. Game content © Pocketpair, Inc.

Breeding questions, answered

See all 10 FAQs here.

How does Palworld breeding work?

Each Pal has a hidden breeding value. When a male and female Pal are placed in the Breeding Farm, the game averages their values and produces the Pal whose value is closest to that average.

How do I breed a specific Pal?

Use the reverse lookup mode. Select the Pal you want, and PalBreed shows every parent pair that produces it.

How many cakes do I need for breeding?

One cake per breeding attempt. Use the Cake Calculator to convert planned attempts into exact ingredient amounts.

What are unique breeding combos?

Parent pairs that always produce the same offspring regardless of gender or stats. For example, Relaxaurus × Sparkit always produces Jetragon.
